If the couple have another child, the average of the parent’s scores would be a 30, and then the father’s tier of 5 would be subtracted, to get 25. Later, if the father’s bloodright score increases to 40, the first child’s score does not increase. Twins or other multiple births share the same score, and are treated as a single birth for determining the reduction of future children's bloodright scores. The second child has ½ this score, the third child has ⅓ of this score, and so on.

The first child of a woman has this full score. Here it is, for anyone that sees this later and is curious. (And ultimately pointless for campaigns which don't span multiple generations.) I'll be taking it out. It does seem a bit clunky and unnecessary, though. I believe that came from the initial Birthright rules, and I kept it in because it helped explain why the average bloodright score across the land was decreasing.
